TRIPLEX
third year | fall '17

This design is for a complex made of three living units for three different sized families. The idea behind this project was to promote a communal living style that pushed and pull habitants into certain areas depending on their perceptual qualities as related to its functionality. All the while inhabitants are in constant interaction with each other.
The design is meant to relate skin to massing, utilizing the interstitial space for both semi-private activity and circulation. The skin too is a device controlling the perceptual relationship between interior and exterior. As a result, a negotiation of individually described forms were created to serve different spatial and programmatic conditions.
